"There's a penis museum in Iceland, which is pretty cool," says Florence Schechter, "but there's no vagina museum – anywhere."
Now, Florence, a science YouTuber, is working to change that.
After she discovered the total global lack of museum space dedicated solely to the wonders of the female anatomy, Florence decided it was high time she created one.
Now, she's busy raising capital to establish the world's first-ever Vagina Museum.
"Vaginas are amazing," Florence told Metro.
"There is such a wonderful variety out there and diversity is what makes this world beautiful.
"Vaginas are not talked about enough. Why is that?"
Research from the Eve Appeal indicates that only half of women aged between 26 and 35 are able to correctly label the parts of the vagina on a diagram.
"This isn’t just a problem in itself," Florence said. "They are just another body part and there’s no reason to feel any shame."
