Fashion designer Collette Dinnigan is turning her hand to interior design – bringing her signature style to Golf House, a new 45-apartment development in Sydney.

The luxury residences will sit above a ground-floor retail space in Surry Hills.

The design comprises of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments over seven storeys.

'Luxury and efficiency has been carefully considered in each space, with a great deal of time having gone into each aspect to ensure each area is easy to use and truly feels like a home,' Ms Dinnigan revealed on her website.

The designer selected materials that are both sumptuous and welcoming – there's plenty of Carrara marble in the kitchens, but this is warmed up with the use of textured materials such as copper and recycled timber flooring.

“We spent hours meticulously planning the design and layout of each of the residences. It was important for us to create a liveable, contemporary home ensuring each apartment has space to relax and entertain,” says Dinnigan.

Each of the 45 Surry Hills apartments feature floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious balconies, many with city views.

There will also be a north-facing, residents-only rooftop with lush greenery and unobstructed views towards the city.

This is not the first foray into interior design for the fashionista, having worked on projects including Bannisters by the Sea at Mollymook, the Beach House at Palm Beach and Milton Surf & Stables.

The apartments aren't expected to be completed until April 2018.
