Walking in heels on the way to a restaurant on a Saturday night leaves us looking like Bambi on ice so we can only imagine the pressure of teething on platform shoes on a catwalk.
The lights are shining bright, the crowds are eerily quiet and there’s about 50 cameras waiting for you at the end of the runway.
And the whole thing got a bit much for one Fashion Week Australia model, who took a nasty tumble right in the middle of the runway during the Project NextGen show on Tuesday.
Dressed in a trailing white gown and towering thigh-high boots, the model hit the floor right before the eyes of all the celebrities on the front row.
However ever the professional, it wasn’t long before she was back on her feet, jumping up promptly and giving the crowd a slight smile before carrying on with the show.
She was also carrying a straw bag which seemed to break her fall while her perfectly tousled waves flew behind her.
The Project NextGen catwalk was awash with billowing silhouettes, oversized sleeves and cute fur coats.
The show was created to give a platform to up and coming Australian designers and has landed a prime spot on the Fashion Week Australia schedule.
The stumble comes after a model took a slip on the opening night of Fashion Week Australia last year.
Dressed in an oversized yellow dress and a pair of towering heels, the model landed on her hands and feet on the Toni Maticevski runway.
The stunner handled the slip like a pro though and bounced back to feet and continued walking.
