“I had a really, really hard time working with Jennifer Aniston because I was so in love with her,” Cole admits.

He goes on to say, “I was infatuated. I was speechless ― I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank...it was so difficult.”

Cole and his twin brother Dylan shared the role of Ben on the 90s sitcom, before going on to co-star in Disney series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Although he's now embarking on shirtless adventures in the new Netflix show Riverdale, Cole says he still gets called "Ben" by fans of the show. "I was only in about seven episodes, but it's funny now that people are recognising me for that."

Cole says that despite his crush on Jen, he hasn't kept in touch with her or any of the Friends cast. "I haven't seen any of them. If I did I’d say hello."

"But it’s been a while and I certainly don’t look the same, so it’d be a hard sell," he laughs. "And if I did look the same, that’d be a little disconcerting!"
