At an intimate lunch in Melbourne yesterday, Myer celebrated the launch of three new brands joining the department store's stable of international designers.
Myer Director of Fashion & Accessories Judy Coomber announced the arrival of Balmain, Temperley London and Calvin Klein Collection, in stores from November.
Balmain has taken the world by storm over the last few seasons," said Coomber, adding that the label's iconic bold shoulder jacket will be remembered as "one of the most influential silhouettes of the decade."
Red carpet favourite Temperley London is also joining Myer's designer line up. Earlier this month,
the label released a zoetrope film to showcase its circus-themed spring/summer 2010 collection.
Of Calvin Klein Collection, Coomber said, "(Designer Francisco) Costa has stayed true to the Calvin Klein aesthetic, balancing clean minimal designs with muted, tonal colour palettes."
