Arriving in style, luxury and comfort at the first Rosemount Australian Fashion Week show of the day in our fabulous Jaguar - which the marie claire fashion team are being driven around in for the week (thank you Jaguar!) - it was convenient that the Dion Lee show was in a downstairs car park! The austere location was a brilliant back drop for what I'm sure will be seen as the show of the week. Dion's execution in his tailoring and choices of fabrication was absolutely flawless. He was our winner of the Best Young Designer award at the recent Prix De Marie Claire and this collection showed just why.


Next up was Zimmermann. They sent out gorgeous one-piece swimsuits good enough to wear even if you're not on the beach, and a fashion collection that oozed femininity. Completely wearable and fresh, this collection is one of my favorites from the brand to date.


Zambesi showed a pared back collection - Liz, the designer, is known as the layering queen but this season she decided to keep it simple - with so much happening in the world today, she wanted to make it easy and, as always, quintessentially Zambesi. I loved it.
