Titled Rose The One, the new scent is the third in a trilogy of perfumes that include The One and L'eau The One.

As the name suggests, the floral scent pays homage to the eternal romance of the rose. Think top notes of pink grapefruit and mandarin balanced by a bouquet of peony, lily and Bulgarian rose at the perfume's heart.

"It is a light, sensual fragrance," confirm Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. "A scent that evokes the luxurious sensuality of bathing in rose petals."

For Johansson, the opportunity to front one of the most feminine fragrances created by the Italian design duo offered a perfect opportunity.

"One of the things that attracted me to working with Dolce & Gabbana is their celebration of femininity, everything that's womanly, sexy and strong," she says.

Rose The One, Eau de Parfum Spray 30ml, $79, is available at Myer, David Jones, The Perfume Connection and selected pharmacies from November 1.
