The signature scent, In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon, is inspired by the Southern belle's childhood home in Tennessee.

In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, the Avon global ambassador admitted that creating the perfume was a new experience for her. "I thought you just pick a fragrance and it's easy. But there were all these different levels of creating a scent."

That's not to say Witherspoon didn't make the fragrance her own.

"We had a big magnolia tree in the backyard, and it's that beautiful white blossom that inspired the perfume," says the Oscar-winning actress, who, with the help of expert noses Olivia Jan of Robertet and Avon's director of creative fragrance development Isabel Ryan, blended top notes of Georgia peach, tea leaves and crisp greens; midnotes of star gardenia, magnolias and jasmine; and notes of cashmere woods, hypnotic florals and amber wood crystals in the fragrance's drydown.

As well as an eau de parfum, a shower gel, body lotion and body mist will be released.
