The look

Simple, elegant hair on the Willow catwalk in New York was the perfect counterbalance to a spring/summer 2010 collection inspired by the magnificence of the Great Barrier Reef.

"Because the clothes were so beautifully strong and powerful, I wanted the hair to look effortlessly chic," said ghd hair director Renya Xydis.

"I wanted the look to have a simple, yet elegant feel, but also incorporate a dishevelled structure with an undone, fluffy like texture."

How To

1. Cleanse hair using ghd elevation shampoo and conditioner.
   Apply ghd thermal protector throughout the hair. Throughout the crown apply ghd fat hair lotion and then blow-dry.
   Mist hair with ghd Reflection Spray, then using your ghd IV styler smooth over the mid lengths and ends.
   Using your fingers, loosely rake the hair back into a low ponytail on the nape. Secure pony with an elastic, making sure you don't pull the ends through the final time, creating a small bun like effect with ends falling down the neckline.
   Give the hair a dishevelled feel by pinching and puckering small pieces of the hair above the ponytail.
   To finish apply ghd polishing serum to the mid lengths and ends and lightly spray with ghd ultimate hairspray for added hold.
