The secret identity of Blanket's mother is revealed and it's claimed she has another son with the King of Pop
One of the most intriguing mysteries that surrounded Michael Jackson during his lifetime appears to have been answered - the identity of his youngest child's mother has finally been revealed.
US magazine Star reported that Norwegian Pia Bhatti (right) is the mum of Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket. And in yet another extraordinary claim, it has also been revealed that Pia's other son, Omer Bhatti, is thought to be the singer's long-hidden love child.
Adding fuel to the rumours was the fact that Omer, a 25-year-old dancer, was seated in the front row at Michael's memorial service.
He sat beside the King of Pop's siblings Rebbie, Janet, Randy, Tito, Marlon, Jackie and Jermaine at the July 7 service in LA. It's claimed that in 2004 Michael told close friends he fathered Omer during a one-night stand with Pia some 20 years earlier.
While Michael arranged for help to be sent to Oslo to raise the child, he first met his alleged son in Tunisia in 1996.
Omer supposedly lived with Michael at the star's Neverland mansion for several years, and in 2003 photos emerged of the boy riding in the singer's limousine during birthday celebrations.
Now Omer is reportedly planning on having a DNA test to prove his lineage. His mum has refused to rule out the possibility that Michael is Omer's father, instead she cryptically told reporters after the singer's death, 'He was the King of Pop, but for us he was so much more.'
Since speculation began that Omer and seven-year-old Blanket share the same parents, observers have been keen to point out the fact the pair look remarkably similar. Both have the same dark hair, the same eyebrows and the same facial features. But the only woman who knows the truth, Pia, has sworn to secrecy and has continually refused to speak about the issue.
