Fruity marshmallow sticks recipe

sticks
Prep Time Serves
45 8
Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • 8 wooden ice-block sticks
  • 16 marshmallows
  • 8 strawberries
  • 1 cup milk chocolate melts
  • 1/2 cup hundreds and thousands

Cut banana into eight even slices. On each ice-block stick, thread one slice of banana, two marshmallows and a strawberry.

Place the chocolate melts in a snap-lock bag and seal. Place the bag in a small heatproof bowl. Ask an adult to pour enough very hot water into the bowl to cover the chocolate. Stand bag for about 5 minutes, or until chocolate is soft. The melts won't change their shape until squeezed.

Remove bag from bowl and pat dry with a tea towel. Using your fingers, press on the plastic bag until chocolate is smooth. Pour onto a large dinner plate.

Dip one side of each fruity stick into the chocolate. Holding the ice-block stick over a plate, sprinkle with hundreds and thousands. Place on a tray lined with baking paper.

Refrigerate completed sticks for 10 minutes, or until chocolate is set.
