2 Divide mince mixture into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a 25cm-long sausage shape to fit the bread.
3 Heat a large frying pan over a medium heat. Place a piece of bread in the pan. Cook for about 1 minute each side, or until pliable. Remove and place a sausage at
one edge of each bread piece. Roll to enclose. Repeat with remaining bread and sausages. Wrap each roll tightly in
foil. Place on an oven tray.
4 Cook in a very hot oven (240°C) for 25 minutes, or until cooked through and crisp. Remove foil. Cut each sausage roll on a diagonal into 3 pieces.
5 Serve sausage rolls with tomato sauce.
Tip The mince mixture can be made up to 2 days ahead. Make sausage rolls just before serving.
