So call me crazy but I'm writing to you from the Big Apple - while I'm on holidays. But before you start thinking that I'm a work-a-holic, which I potentially am, I just wanted to fill you in on what's happening in the city that never sleeps.

My man and I have just arrived and my first stop was Sephora, for those of you that haven't ever heard of it, it's a Mecca for all things beauty and my dream shopping destination. Filled from wall to wall with the most amazing products I've ever seen, I literally had to be dragged out of there after two hours of non-stop searching.

As I approached the fragrance section I was totally overwhelmed. I am a complete perfume junky and have at least seven on the go at once, but always on the lookout for something new and exciting I came across my next must-have scent.

I must admit that I've already come across this fragrance back home, but seeing it in this light made me even more excited. Davidoff Cool Water Wave - the latest addition to the ever-popular cool water range is seriously one of the best scents I've come across in a long time. Infused with all my favourite things including Watermelon, Mango, Guava and Peony, it's the closest thing I'm going to get to a fruit salad in this city.

Perfect for those hot summer days, I've been spritzing it non-stop, and the Americans are loving it as much as I am.

Anyway, must get back to shopping and 'researching'.
