Grammy award-winning artist and hearthrob John Mayer has revealed his funny side in a hilarious new comedy skit.

The video, released on US comedy website funnyordie.com, is a spoof that promises to take viewers behind the scenes of John Mayer's songwriting process.

The short also stars 'Veronica Mars' lead, Kristen Bell, and was produced by Judd Apatow, the comic genius behind 'Knocked Up' and 'Super Bad'.
