DEFINITION
Hair Brushes are usually made to stringent quality standards using durable premium materials. In most cases they are heat resistant with the concepts and designs produced for every styling job and every type of hair.
There are three main groups of hair brushes: Grooming Brushware, Blow Styling Brushware and Blow Waving Brushware.
DESCRIPTION
PAD/PNEUMATIC BRUSH
- Dome-topped, rubber pad.

- Ideal for medium to long, curly hair to brush effectively through waves and curls.
- Lifts and provides half curls for a smooth bob look in hair 20cm (8") and longer.
GROOMING BRUSH
- Splayed or regular bristle patterns.
- Available in:
- Single ball-tipped nylon.
- Multi-tufted nylon.
- Pure bristle.
- Reinforced or bleached pure bristles.
- Plastic or traditional wood bases.
- For daily grooming, distributing oils and releasing dirt particles.
- Bleached pure bristles are ideal for the fine, delicate hair of the very young or elderly.
- Single ball tipped bristles are ideal for medium to thick, curly hair.
- Ball-tipped brush can be used to detangle hair or groom oily hair.
TEASING BRUSH

HAIR VITALISER BRUSH

PHARMACIST'S ADVICE
Ask your Pharmacist for advice.
1) Always use a quality hair shampoo and conditioner. Remember the cheapest is not always the best.
2) Ask your Pharmacist for the correct brush for your particular hair. A natural bristle brush is usually suggested.
3) If the diet is inadequate some nutritional supplements might be taken. Vitamin A, called the cosmetic vitamin might be recommended. If the hair is dry vitamin E may be suggested.
